How it works
A radar, not a search engine.
The institutions publish everything but notify no one. EU Policy Tracker re-reads the pages you picked at regular intervals, compares them with the previous version and shows you only what changed.
1. Pick from the catalogue
The catalogue is curated: Commission press releases and DG news, plenary agenda and adopted texts, the feed and meeting documents of every parliamentary committee, the political groups, the Council, EUR-Lex, the Court of Justice and the Strasbourg court, agencies such as FRA, EDPS, EMA, EIGE and EUDA, the European Citizens' Initiative. You can also search an MEP by name and follow their official page. You cannot add arbitrary addresses: every source is checked and maintained by the team.
2. Narrow down with keywords
With keywords you are alerted only when the change contains them, which matters on sources that publish a lot, like the Commission press corner. Where a page has menus and banners, the catalogue already limits the check to the relevant part.
3. Frequency and alerts
Each watch has its own frequency, from hourly to daily. Alerts arrive by email right away or in a daily digest, or you read them in your radar. Every event shows the lines added and removed.
Difficult pages
Many institutions answer only to a real browser (the Parliament and the Council for server addresses, EUR-Lex, EDPS, the Council of Europe, Eurofound, ECHA) or render only with JavaScript (Have your say, the documents register, eMeeting). For those the engine drives a real Chrome and waits for the site's checks to complete; they carry the browser chip in the catalogue. When a plain read is challenged, the watch switches to the browser on its own.
Limits
Each account can keep up to 25 watches active. The service re-reads public pages at a polite pace; it is not meant to download archives or to bypass protections.
